Denver Divorce Attorney Marlana Caruso Marlana A. Caruso majored in philosophy with a concentration in critical thinking and a minor in political science. That unique background allows her to think outside of the box and have a different perspective on how she views aspects of a client’s case.

“It also allows me to relate a bit more on a personal level, and that connection and direct interaction with people is why I got into family law,” she said.

Ms. Caruso said she enjoys being able to work in an area of law that directly affects people’s lives. Her impact is evident in her work, including one particular case where she was able to reunite a father with his children after the mother moved the children out of state against his will.

Ms. Caruso graduated cum laude from Christopher Newport University where she majored in Philosophy with a concentration in Critical Thinking and minored in Political Science. She received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University where she graduated magna cum laude and was ranked seventh in her class.

While in law school, Ms. Caruso was Notes and Comments Editor for Law Review and a member of Moot Court. Also, she was President and Co-Founder of The Native American Law Student Association.
