Four Cordell & Cordell divorce attorneys from Missouri and Wisconsin were recently received recognition from Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding lawyers.
Missouri attorneys William Halaz III and Brittany Brown and Wisconsin attorney Erica Gittings were named Rising Stars in the family law practice area. Executive/Managing Partner, CEO Scott Trout was also named a Missouri Super Lawyer.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
Ms. Brown, who is a Senior Attorney in the firm’s St. Louis office, received the award for the fourth time. Mr. Halaz, a Lead Litigator in the St. Louis office, earned the distinction for the third consecutive year. Ms. Gittings, a Regional Partner in the firm’s Madison office, made the list for the third straight year. Mr. Trout was named a Super Lawyer from 2006-09 and from 2015-17.
