About Eric Tuncil, Senior Litigation Attorney
Mr. Tuncil has been practicing law in Illinois and Missouri for over 17 years, focusing on family, juvenile and probate court matters, including, adoptions and guardianships, and has tried numerous cases in both states. Additionally, Mr. Tuncil focuses his practice on appellate matters, having briefed and/or argued over eighteen (18) cases at the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, with eight (8) published opinions. Mr. Tuncil has also briefed and argued administrative appeals in various courts in Missouri and Illinois and was a judicial intern/clerk in Washington, D.C., further honing his trial and briefing expertise. In addition to his litigation and appellate practice, Mr. Tuncil has volunteered time to various bar associations, having been the Saint Louis County Bar President, as well as local high schools and law schools, evaluating and/or moderating various mock trial, moot court and trial advocacy competitions and evaluating student presentations. Recognizing the impact domestic and juvenile matters have on children, Mr. Tuncil also acts as guardian ad litem for the Saint Louis County Family Court, serving as a conduit for the court in looking out for children’s best interests.
