Three Attorneys Named Oklahoma Super Lawyers Rising Stars
Three Cordell & Cordell Oklahoma attorneys were recently selected to the 2015 Oklahoma Rising Stars list for family law attorneys by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business.
Brad Cunningham and Christian Barnard (Tulsa) and Heath Davis (Oklahoma City) were each named to the list. Cunningham was selected for the third consecutive year while Davis made it for the second year in a row and Barnard earned the distinction for the first time.

Five Cordell & Cordell attorneys were recently recognized as Rising Stars in the family law practice area by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding lawyers.
Brad Cunningham and Heath Davis were recognized as Oklahoma Rising Stars, and Brittany Brown, Cherlyn Crosby-Herberts and Shawn Riley were awarded the Missouri and Kansas Rising Stars designation.
Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in each state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
For Mr. Cunningham, the award marks his fourth time being recognized by Super Lawyers. Mr. Riley was named a Rising Star in 2013 and Mr. Davis, Ms. Brown, and Ms. Crosby-Herberts each received their first Rising Star award.
The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.
Lawyers are asked to nominate the best attorneys who are 40 years old or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. They are instructed to nominate lawyers they have personally observed in action — whether as opposing counsel or co-counsel, or through other firsthand courtroom observation.
