5 Cordell & Cordell Attorneys Named Rising Stars By Super Lawyers
Five Cordell & Cordell attorneys were recently recognized as Rising Stars in the family law practice area by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding lawyers.
Brad Cunningham and Heath Davis were recognized as Oklahoma Rising Stars, and Brittany Brown, Cherlyn Crosby-Herberts and Shawn Riley were awarded the Missouri and Kansas Rising Stars designation.
Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in each state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
For Mr. Cunningham, the award marks his fourth time being recognized by Super Lawyers. Mr. Riley was named a Rising Star in 2013 and Mr. Davis, Ms. Brown, and Ms. Crosby-Herberts each received their first Rising Star award.
The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.
Lawyers are asked to nominate the best attorneys who are 40 years old or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. They are instructed to nominate lawyers they have personally observed in action — whether as opposing counsel or co-counsel, or through other firsthand courtroom observation.
