Philadelphia Divorce Attorney William Phelan Named To Irish Legal 100
Cordell & Cordell Philadelphia divorce attorney William J. Phelan, IV was recently selected to the 2019 Irish Legal 100, a legal listing of the leading figures in law across the United States.
The Irish Legal 100, founded in 2008 by the Irish Voice newspaper in New York, is an annual compilation of the most distinguished legal professionals in the U.S. who share pride in their Irish roots. The list includes attorneys, legal scholars, and members of the judiciary who have distinguished themselves in their fields of endeavor. Members include United States Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Anthony Kennedy, United States Ambassador to Ireland Kevin O’Malley, Georgetown Law Dean William Treanor, CBS News correspondent Erin Moriarty, and many more.
Each fall, members named to the list are celebrated at a reception hosted by the Ambassador of Ireland to the United States.
Mr. Phelan, who earned his Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law, was recognized in 2016 and 2017 as a Pennsylvania Rising Star by Super Lawyers and from 2014-17 as a Washington, D.C. Rising Star. He also has received recognition from the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys, the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys, and the National Advocates.
