The Mississippi Business Journal recently published an article detailing Cordell & Cordell’s expansion to Jackson, Mississippi, and explaining why the firm focuses on representing men in divorce.
The firm recently opened its fourth new office in 2018 by launching its first Mississippi office in Jackson (1000 Highland Colony Parkway, Suite 5203, Ridgeland, MS 39157).
“We had already been servicing some clients south of Memphis in Southaven, and felt there was a need elsewhere in Mississippi for our services,” said Cordell & Cordell CEO Scott Trout. “We will have two attorneys servicing the needs of Mississippi clients.”
Although Cordell & Cordell has established itself as a partner men can count on in divorce, Mr. Trout noted that the firm’s mission has more to do with protecting families.
“There are studies that show that kids are far better in divorce when both parents are involved equally,” he said. “While there are cases where we are trying to get primary custody for guys, there are many other cases where we are just trying to keep both parents involved in their children’s lives.”
