Joe Cordell Gives Keynote Speech at AAA-CPA Fall Conference
Joseph Cordell, Principal Partner of Cordell & Cordell and president of the American Association of Attorney-CPAs, was the keynote speaker at the AAA-CPA Fall Meeting & Education Conference and also participated on a panel about “Prenuptial Agreements – Representing the Economically Dominant and Weaker Parties.”
The panel included nationally recognized family law attorneys who discussed how to represent a client in the drafting of a prenuptial agreement. They touched on topics such as what the economically dominant party should be prepared to offer, what the weaker party should expect, and how creative a counsel and client can get in drafting a prenuptial agreement.
Included on the panel with Mr. Cordell were Linda Ravdin, a principal of the Bethesda, Md., firm of Pasternak & Fidis, and Scott Strickler, a principal of the Potomac, Md., firm of Shulman Rogers Gandal Pordy & Ecker.
The AAA-CPA, which is celebrating its 50th year, held its conference from Nov. 5 to 8 at the Sofitel Hotel in Washington, D.C.
