Five Cordell & Cordell Attorneys Recognized By Super Lawyers
Five Cordell & Cordell Missouri attorneys were recently recognized by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding lawyers.
Executive/Managing Partner Scott Trout was named a Super Lawyer in Missouri and Kansas. In addition, Brittany Brown (Saint Louis), Cherlyn Crosby-Herberts (Saint Louis), William Halaz III (Saint Louis), and Shawn Riley (Independence) were recognized as Missouri and Kansas Rising Stars.
Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in each state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
Super Lawyers is based on the survey of more than 800,000 attorneys who have practiced for five years or more. Rising Stars are nominated by fellow attorneys as the best attorneys aged 40 or under who have practiced for 10 years or less.
Mr. Trout was previously named a Super Lawyer in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2015.
This is the third consecutive year Mr. Riley has been named a Rising Star and the second straight year Ms. Brown and Ms. Crosby-Herberts have been named to the list. It is the first time Mr. Halaz has earned the distinction.
