Five Cordell & Cordell Attorneys Named to 2022 Legal Elite List
Cordell & Cordell South Carolina divorce attorneys Stephanie Smith, Christine Robbins, Michael Turner, Mackenzie Pearson, and James C. Todd IV were recently named to the Columbia Business Monthly and Greenville Business Magazine lists of 2022 Legal Elite.
Winners are chosen by the votes of their peers in 20 business-related categories. Legal Elite is the only award program in the region that gives every active attorney the opportunity to participate
This is the third consecutive year Mr. Todd has earned the award and the second year in a row for Ms. Smith.
Mr. Todd is a Litigation Manager in Cordell & Cordell’s Greenville office. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States District Court, and is president of the Laurens County Bar Association. In addition to his Legal Elite award, he was also named a 2022 Rising Star in family law by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding attorneys. He received his Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law.
Ms. Smith, a Litigation Attorney in the Columbia office, is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Ms. Robbins, an Associate Attorney in the Columbia office, is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and received her Master of Law from Queen Mary University of London and her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Mr. Turner is a Lead Litigator in the Greenville office and a member of the South Carolina and Greenville County Bar Associations. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law.
Ms. Pearson is an Associate Attorney in the Columbia office. In 2021, she was named to the Legal Elite list for both Residential Real Estate and Tax and Estate Planning. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
