In an effort to educate more men on how the divorce process works, Cordell & Cordell is hosting two free Men’s Divorce School seminars in Carlsbad, Calif., and San Diego.
The Carlsbad seminar is slated for Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort Golf Club & Spa while the San Diego seminar is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 9, at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa & Marina.
Registration for both events open at 6 p.m. local time with the seminar running from 6:30 to 8:30.
Men’s Divorce School is a free event to educate and inform men and fathers the basics of how the divorce process works in their area. Experienced family law attorneys will be on hand to offer insight about what to expect based on their experience as divorce lawyers.
The seminars cover a wide range of topics, such as how child custody is decided, how child support is calculated, how your state handles alimony, and a description of how divorce works in California. The seminars also will cover military family law and how the divorce process is different for military families.
