About Tripp Atkins, Senior Litigation Attorney
Having participated in over 100 trials in the South Carolina Family Court, Mr. Atkins is well-rounded and prepared to defend his clients through a variety of legal matters. He has handled high-stakes and sensitive cases including things including complicated child custody matters, division of complex marital estates, defense of child abuse allegations, and other matters which require special care and attention. In one unusual case, Mr. Atkins successfully defended a father’s parental rights in a complex termination of parental rights case where psychologists and other experts weighed in on the parental bonds and impact of the allegations of child abuse. This case shows Mr. Atkins’s dedication to his clients and his ability to zealously pursue the client’s goals.

Prior to joining Cordell & Cordell, Mr. Atkins practiced tax resolution law for 4 years, and then moved on to be an adjunct instructor in Paralegal Studies at Greenville Technical College for 9 years.
