About Mari Martinez, Senior Litigation Attorney
As a former Deputy District Attorney, Ms. Martinez prosecuted numerous high-profile criminal cases, including serious violent felonies, homicide, and drug trafficking cases. She specialized in juvenile matters during the most recent part of her tenure, which gave her significant insight into the dynamics of family life and the impact it can have on a child’s wellbeing.
Ms. Martinez is passionate and empathetic to those experiencing difficult transitional phases in their lives. Her experience working with victims of crime and children in the Juvenile Justice System inspired her to pursue a career in family law.

Professional Experience
Ms. Martinez completed several clerkships in multiple organizations during her time as a law student. After passing the bar, she worked as a prosecutor for 10 years. She began as an Assistant District Attorney in the Metropolitan Division before progressing to a Senior Trial Attorney in the Felony Crime Division and was promoted to Deputy District Attorney in 2021.
