About James Mains, Litigation Attorney
James Mains, Family Law Litigation Attorney, focuses his practice on a wide range of family law matters, including: divorce, child custody, child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, child support, and adoption. James previously served as a Guardian Ad Litem on Division 7’s, Judge Brown’s, docket in Jefferson County, Kentucky.
Originally from Sacramento, California, James moved to Louisville, Kentucky in 2008 and graduated from Trinity High School in 2012. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Kentucky in 2016, before continuing his legal education at the University of Louisville. In 2020, James graduated with both a Juris Doctorate and a Master’s in Urban Planning.
