About J. Franklin Hudspeth, Associate Attorney
Mr. Hudspeth first became interested in family law in law school, drawn to a field that sits at the crossroads of civil litigation, constitutional law, contract law, and even international law. “The subject was simply fascinating,” Mr. Hudspeth said.
That interest deepened during his time with Shelby County Child Support Services, where he was gradually introduced to more facets of family law through his work on child support matters. The experience solidified his commitment to the practice. “It’s extremely gratifying to be able to help individuals who are going through what is often the hardest time of their lives,” Mr. Hudspeth said.

Mr. Hudspeth received his Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis School of Law in 2024, where he participated in the Neighborhood Preservation Clinic and served as a Judicial Clerk for the Shelby County Criminal Courts. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2021.
