About Andrew Porter, Associate Attorney
Andrew Porter said he went into family law because he “wanted to do something useful with my education.”
“In law school and in the profession, the people who are seeking our assistance are universally known as ‘clients.’ But in family law, the ‘client’ is more than that,” Mr. Porter said. “The people who walk through the doors of our offices are parents, children, grandparents, and other family members who are asking for help navigating some of the most challenging parts of their lives.”
Mr. Porter sees his role as a guide for people facing unfamiliar territory. “They are seeking guidance and support to navigate what, to them, is uncharted water, and to get them and their loved ones to the other side,” he said.
That perspective shapes how he approaches each case. Mr. Porter believes family law attorneys have the potential to make a real and lasting difference for the people they represent, and he holds himself to a high standard in pursuing it.
“The work that is done as a family law attorney has the potential to make a real, meaningful, and lasting impact on the people I represent,” Mr. Porter said. “I strive to do everything I can to ensure that it is the best outcome that can be reached in their circumstances.”
