About Andrew Ordyna, Senior Litigation Partner
Andrew Ordyna has practiced law for 25 years, with his entire practice devoted exclusively to family law since 2005. He is one of eight Senior Litigation Partners at Cordell & Cordell, where he has spent more than 19 years of his career.
A Georgia native, Andrew attended Georgia Southern University, where he was inducted into the Bell Honors Society and graduated a year early. He entered Georgia State University College of Law in 1998 and again finished ahead of schedule, completing his degree in the fall of 2000.
In January 2001, Andrew moved to New Hampshire to join the New Hampshire Public Defender’s Office, drawn by its hands-on, specialized trial training program — an experience that gave him substantial courtroom time early in his career. He returned to Georgia in 2002 and joined a small Atlanta practice handling family law and criminal matters. In 2003 he moved to a mid-sized firm, and by 2005 had assumed responsibility for the entirety of the firm’s family law docket. He joined Cordell & Cordell in 2007.
Andrew was admitted to the New Hampshire bar in 2001 and to the Georgia and Massachusetts bars in 2002. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire (2001) and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia (2002). He is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association and the Cobb County Bar Association.
Outside the office, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, friends and his dog, Duke, both in metro Atlanta and at Lake Jackson.
