Cordell & Cordell, along with its sponsored sites Dads Divorce and Men’s Divorce, presents a news video for the week of May 15, 2015.

This week, Cordell Cordell announced its launch of a new office in London, England – the firm’s first office in the United Kingdom.

As in the United States, men in the UK are frequently unfairly represented in family courts. With the opening of a London branch, Cordell & Cordell is aiming to bridge the gender gap that has been prevalent in family law for too long.

Dads Divorce published a new article about shared-parenting legislation being considered across the U.S.

Nearly 20 states are considering laws that would lead to more equal parenting time following divorce and separation. This push coincides with the release of a new study that shows the advantages children in shared-parenting arrangements have compared to those that live with just one parent.

Men’s Divorce posted a new article explaining how the custody of pets is determined after divorce.

Traditionally, pet custody disputes have been settled using property laws. However, societal feelings regarding pets h ave changed and they now hold an unofficial place above mere property.
