Cordell & Cordell Mount Laurel attorney Michelle L. Ferreri was selected to the 2014 New Jersey Rising Stars list for family law attorneys by Super Lawyers magazine. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
This is the fourth time Super Lawyers has recognized Ms. Ferreri with previous selections in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
She was also named “Awesome Attorney” in Family and Matrimonial Law for 2009-2013 by South Jersey Magazine.
The annual Super Lawyers selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.
Lawyers are asked to nominate the best attorneys who are 40 years old or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. They are instructed to nominate lawyers they have personally observed in action — whether as opposing counsel or co-counsel, or through other firsthand courtroom observation.
