Cordell & Cordell Texas divorce attorney Kelly L. Burris recently earned recognition from Super Lawyers Magazine, a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding lawyers.
Ms. Burris, who practices out of Cordell & Cordell’s Austin office, was named a Super Lawyer in the family law practice area for the third consecutive year. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have obtained a high degree of peer recognition and professional development.
Ms. Burris was previously named a Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers from 2004 to 2006 and 2008 to 2014 and has been selected to the Super Lawyers list for the last three years. In, 2006, she was named one of the “Best Lawyers in Dallas under 40” by D Magazine, and in 2010 received the President’s Award of Merit from the Texas Young Lawyers Association.
In addition to being licensed to practice in Texas and Oklahoma, Ms. Burris is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Texas Tech School of Law.
