About Phyllis L. MacCutcheon, Regional Managing Attorney
A divorce is one of the most stressful events a person can go through in their lifetime.
Add in an unfamiliar and intimidating court system, and it becomes overwhelming.
When families with children are involved, it can become even more devastating.
The opportunity to help those families through this challenging process is why Hartford divorce attorney Phyllis L. MacCutcheon chooses to practice family law.
“I am drawn to family law as it allows me to help shepherd a client through such a difficult time, and help preserve their dignity and their family, as much as possible,” Ms. MacCutcheon said. “The children in the divorce process are especially vulnerable during this time, and I am in a position to help make sure that they have an advocate.”
Ms. MacCutcheon is patient and possesses a keen understanding of how the legal process works. Through it all, she remains an advocate for her clients and does whatever she can to help them move on to the next chapter of their life.
“Although the process is at times overwhelming, I will be there to ensure their questions are answered, their interests are protected, and also provide realistic expectations throughout their case,” Ms. MacCutcheon said.
