About Michelle L. Ferreri, Management Partner
Michelle L. Ferreri is a Management Partner for Cordell & Cordell.
Ms. Ferreri has been exclusively practicing family law for nearly two decades and is experienced in all types of family and matrimonial matters.
Ms. Ferreri has completed 40 hours of Divorce Mediation Training through the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators and 40 hours of Civil Mediation Training through the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and she is available to mediate all types of family law matters.

Ms. Ferreri is licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Education
Ms. Ferreri received her bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Professional Experience
After receiving her law degree, Ms. Ferreri spent a year as a judicial law clerk for family law Judge Eugene J. McCaffrey Jr. in the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Prior to joining Cordell & Cordell, she spent just under five years as an Associate Attorney practicing family law in Woodbury, NJ.
Ms. Ferreri also is a former member of the New Jersey Supreme Court District IV Ethics Committee.

Awards
Ms. Ferreri was recognized from 2009-2011 and 2014-2020 as a New Jersey Rising Star in the family law practice area by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding lawyers.
She was also named “Awesome Attorney” in Family and Matrimonial Law for 2009-2022 by South Jersey Magazine and named to the list of Best Family Law Attorneys in 2015 and 2016.
South Jersey Magazine also listed Ms. Ferreri in its Law Review section.
In 2016, Ms. Ferreri was recognized as one of the 10 Best Attorneys Under 40 for Client Satisfaction by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.
American Institute of Legal Counsel is an impartial third-party attorney rating organization comprised of 6 divisions consisting of Criminal, DUI/DWI, Personal Injury, Bankruptcy, Elder, and Family Law. The American Institute of Legal Counsel compiles an exclusive list of the “10 Best” Attorneys for each State. In 2016, the AIOFLA also named Ms. Ferreri one of the 10 Best Female Attorneys for Client Satisfaction.
