About Destinee S. Wilson, Litigation Attorney
Columbia divorce attorney Destinee S. Wilson has had an interest in family law since her parents’ divorce when she was in middle school. She saw how taxing it was on both and knew she wanted to help people in similar situations.
“Oftentimes in family law, we are helping people who are at the lowest point in their lives, and I want to be a guide for them through that process,” Ms. Wilson said. “I also love the challenge that family law brings in that no two cases are ever the same.”
Ms. Wilson has an ability to resonate with people from all walks of life. She believes most people are just seeking to be understood and she has a way of hearing people and meeting them where they are.
“As long as you are forthcoming with me about your story and case, I will go the extra mile for you,” she said. “There will never be a time that a client does not get my absolute best work.”

Ms. Wilson is licensed to practice in South Carolina.
Education
Ms. Wilson earned her Bachelor of Arts in political science from Clemson University and her Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Prior to joining Cordell & Cordell, Ms. Wilson worked in the South Carolina Supreme Court Staff Attorney’s Office.
