About Amy Humbert, Litigation Manager
Amy Humbert said she takes a very aggressive approach to her cases when that approach is needed.
“I seem to know when to push forward with issues my clients believe in, and I have been very successful in child custody cases,” Ms. Humbert said.
She believes that parents need to take a step back from their problems and issues and look at the best interest of the children and what works for them.
“I enjoy fighting to get father’s time their children,” she said. “It is gratifying to help people through hard times.”

Ms. Humbert is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
Education
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Administrative Justice from the University of Pittsburgh, Ms. Humbert used her talents as a paralegal before receiving her Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Cordell & Cordell, Ms. Humbert focused her practice on family law with a Pennsylvania law firm working in civil, family, personal injury, and criminal law.

Ms. Humbert currently is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, and the Family Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar.
Awards
Ms. Humbert was recognized in 2014-17 as a Pennsylvania Rising Star in the family law practice area by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding lawyers.
