About Hilda N. Roman, Senior Litigation Attorney
Ms. Roman said she was drawn to family law because of the opportunity to help people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
“You’re getting people when they’re at their most vulnerable,” Ms. Roman said. “To use my skills and expertise to help people feel heard and respected is very rewarding and meaningful.”
No two cases look the same to her. “Every case is different, every client is different, every situation is unique,” she said. “There’s never a dull moment.” That variety keeps her engaged, but her focus remains constant: making sure her clients feel comfortable and confident navigating both the legal process and the circumstances of their case.
Outside the office, Ms. Roman enjoys spending time with her family, trying new foods, and going on adventures.

Professional Experience
Ms. Roman has spent twelve years building a litigation practice grounded in both public interest work and high-stakes first-party insurance disputes. Her experience at Community Legal Services, representing impoverished clients on matters spanning family law and landlord-tenant disputes, helped her gain insight to the individual needs of her clients. Her experience in first-party litigation, where she has represented both homeowners seeking insurance coverage and insurance companies defending against such claims, gave her a well-rounded command of litigation from both sides of the table. Â Over the course of her career, Ms. Roman has developed deep expertise in fact-finding, discovery, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.Â
