Four Cordell & Cordell Missouri attorneys were recently recognized by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding lawyers.
CEO and Managing/Executive Partner Scott Trout was named a Super Lawyer while Brittany Brown (St. Louis), William Halaz (St. Louis), and Shawn Riley (Independence) were named Rising Stars in the family law practice area.
Super Lawyers is based on the survey of more than 800,000 attorneys who have practiced for five years or more. Rising Stars are nominated by fellow attorneys as the best attorneys aged 40 or under who have practiced for 10 years or less.
Mr. Trout was previously named a Super Lawyer in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2015.
This is the fourth year in a row Mr. Riley has made it to the Rising Stars List and the third consecutive year for Ms. Brown. Mr. Halaz earned the distinction for the second straight year.
