8 Cordell & Cordell Texas Attorneys Named Rising Stars
Eight Cordell & Cordell Texas attorneys were recently recognized as Rising Stars in the family law practice area by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding lawyers.
Jane Robertson, Raul Sandoval, Amanda Clepper, Rachel Sadovsky, Tomekia Lee-Chaney, Julianne Morgan, Samuel Sanchez, and Dena Wilson were awarded the Texas Rising Star designation.
Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in each state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
This is the third consecutive year Ms. Robertson, Ms. Clepper, and Ms. Wilson have earned the distinction. Mr. Sandoval, Ms. Morgan, and Mr. Sanchez were named to the list for the second straight year and Ms. Sadovsky and Ms. Lee-Chaney received the award for the first time.
The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.
Lawyers are asked to nominate the best attorneys who are 40 years old or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. They are instructed to nominate lawyers they have personally observed in action — whether as opposing counsel or co-counsel, or through other firsthand courtroom observation.
