About Debra Sheppard, Senior Litigation Attorney
All domestic disputes bring a time of upheaval, change, and often fear to those involved. Frederick divorce divorce attorney Debra Sheppard wanted to focus on family law to bring a calm approach and logic into what can feel like a chaotic time.
“I strive to focus on keeping the children’s needs first, using sound business decisions in all property division, and keeping an eye on making sure my client is ready to begin their next chapter in a successful manner,” she said.
Ms. Sheppard tries to remove emotion from the equation in order to better look at things factually. She is a pragmatic attorney who always tells her client what she believes their best- and worst-case scenario is any given situation.
“The discussion on how to proceed, however, always rests with the client,” she said.
