Practicing family law is in Indianapolis divorce attorney Mary Wisehart Berry’s genes. She is a third-generation attorney who is passionate about children and helping others.

“I grew up visiting the courthouse often and was drawn to the idea of justice and fairness in the law,” Ms. Wisehart Berry said.

Ms. Wisehart Berry started her career by practicing with her father. They practiced family law as their primary focus for 17 years.

She credits her father’s mentoring as a key component to her success and her continued passion for family law. For four years, she was a judicial officer presiding over family law cases, which gave her perspective from the bench.

Ms. Wisehart Berry is diligent and industrious when working cases and patient and kind when communicating with her clients. She also has a competitive streak when she enters a courtroom.

“I am experienced and tested,” she said. “… I hate to lose.”
