Katie Thomas

Associate Attorney

Albany divorce attorney Katie Thomas

Cordell & Cordell Albany divorce attorney Katie Thomas enjoys helping people work through their problems. She feels family law is an area of law, in which people are constantly frustrated and always feel that everyone is out to get them.

“I like working with people to come up with different and creative solutions to work through the different family dynamics,” Ms. Thomas said.

Regardless of whatever external circumstances she is faced with, Ms. Thomas always maintains a sense of calm and never allows herself to get worked up over her client’s situations.

“By allowing myself to remain calm, my clients remain calm and trust in me to work through their issues,” she said.

At the start of each case, Ms. Thomas emphasizes the importance of remaining patient throughout the divorce process.

“It doesn’t take a few days,” she said. “It’s a lengthy process and it may not always seem like something is happening, but believe it or not, behind the scenes something is happening.”
