Family law matters are very personal and the thought of opening up and sharing intimate details about your life with an attorney is understandably daunting for many people. However, Mr. Gonzales is careful to put his clients at ease and makes sure they understand that he is on their side and willing to do whatever he can to ensure their rights are protected.

“I am here to listen, without judgment, and to provide every client with an objective and honest opinion on what options are available to them,” Mr. Gonzales said.

Mr. Gonzales earned his Juris Doctor and  his Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts from the University of New Mexico.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Cordell & Cordell, Mr. Gonzales practiced probate litigation and estate planning and represented homeowners in claims against major financial institutions involving fraud, bad faith lending, common law contracts and torts, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act. He was also previous an Assistant District Attorney.

  • While in law school, Mr. Gonzales earned the Clinical Honors Award in the Business and Tax Clinic; the American Bar Association Diversity Fellow in Environmental Law Program; and served as Citations Editor for the Natural Resources Journal.
