Ann Arbor divorce attorney James Moriarty’s parents divorced when he was very young, but maintained a very civil relationship. That is what initially sparked his interest in family law.
“That scenario seemed rare compared to others, so I was left curious,” Mr. Moriarty said. “I had a chance.”
When it comes to transitioning through the divorce process, Mr. Moriarty cautions his clients to break everything down one step at a time.
“Try not to think about all of the aspects of the process all at once,” he said, “since it’s too difficult to process so many things at once. Compartmentalize aspects, if possible.”
