While she wasn’t initially intending to practice family law, Ms. Morgan changed her mind after her first family law case. She enjoyed seeing the difference it made to her client’s life and felt moved when she saw happy pictures of families reunited.

Conscious of the trust clients put into their attorneys’ hands, Ms. Morgan takes this responsibility and trust seriously.

Ms. Morgan is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and Tennessee.


Ms. Morgan graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in political science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She earned her juris doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2010.

Professional Experience

Before coming to Cordell & Cordell, she worked for child support services and also spent time practicing general civil litigation related to divorce, paternity, custody, child support, adoption, education, criminal defense, real estate and more.


Ms. Morgan is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and was a 2014 Young Lawyers Division District representative.


Ms. Morgan earned a 2010 Tennessee Bar Association Award for the Jon E. Hastings Writing Competition. She also earned the 2013 and 2014 Pro Bono Honor Roll Award from the Tennessee Bar Association.
