Co-Founder, Principal Partner
Cordell & Cordell is donating two Belgian Malinois to serve as fully-trained police service dogs for local police departments. The firm’s donation covers a 6-week dual-purpose training program conducted at Shallow Creek Kennels for both the dogs and their handlers as well as equipment needed to accommodate the dogs on duty.
The dogs will serve as either apprehension and narcotics detection dogs or apprehension and explosive detection dogs. They provide police departments an invaluable resource in helping protect and serve our local communities.
Why Belgian Malinois?
Mr. Cordell is the proud owner of a Belgian Malinois dog named Scout so the breed is special to our company. Scout is a familiar sight around our hallways and always brings a smile to our employees’ faces.
In addition, Cordell & Cordell is an ardent supporter of the brave men and women who protect us. Combining our firm’s commitment to the law enforcement community with our love of Belgian Malinois dogs is a perfect fit.

After getting in touch with Ben's mother via email, Mr. Cuneo realized he could help grant one of Ben’s wishes by donating some of his unused airline miles and hotel points he receives from his work with Cordell & Cordell.
“When I read the story, it was very touching,” Mr. Cuneo said. “Not everybody has the ability, whether it's miles or finances, to do this. I have both and this is something I wanted to do to give back.”
As an organization that was founded on the simple idea of encouraging fathers to spend more one-on-one time with their children, GameDay Coffee founder Todd Melloh knew that the partnership with Cordell & Cordell was a natural one considering the firm’s mission of helping maximize the role that fathers play in the lives of their children.
“They’re so dedicated to helping men protect their rights when divorce litigation happens,” Mr. Melloh said. “And unfortunately, they have to be a part of that because divorce is part of our society, but they believe in helping men become more involved and more engaged with their children.”
