Chris LaFrance is the Florida Resident Partner in the Tampa and Orlando, Florida offices of Cordell & Cordell, where he practices domestic relations exclusively. Mr. LaFrance is licensed to practice law in the states of Florida and New York.

Mr. LaFrance received his B.A. cum laude at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1989, going on to receive his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 1992. He was admitted in Florida as well as in all New York State Courts, including the United States District court in the Southern and Northern Districts of New York.

Mr. LaFrance began his legal career by assisting with matrimonial cases and administering estates in Albany, New York. He comes to Cordell & Cordell with over 15 years of experience successfully practicing civil litigation on a variety of civil matters. Those matters include: continued litigation of matrimonial matters, medical malpractice and personal injury cases, bench trials, appearances before the New York Appellate Courts, and the negotiation of commercial transactions.

Mr. LaFrance currently is a member of the Florida Bar and the Hillsborough County Bar Associations.
