Ms. Sierra has always been intrigued by the way people interact with one another and pursued this interest throughout her psychology and legal studies. She continues to find this work fascinating as she deals with people’s most important relationships in family law cases.
Ms. Sierra enjoys looking at the big picture in these cases and then relating such concepts to her clients so that they can understand a bit more about the process and end goal.
She sincerely enjoys working to protect the children involved in her cases as well:
“Communicating with my clients about the effects of this process on their children can help the parents protect their kids from the emotional turmoil they are often facing when families have splintered.”
First and foremost, Ms. Sierra strongly believes that her clients must take care of themselves throughout the legal process. She is an advocate of keeping one’s cool and doing what is healthy and necessary to look after one’s self as well as any children.
“It is a marathon and not a sprint,” says Sierra. “It can be a very emotional situation, and I believe clients need to do whatever is necessary to take care of themselves. I will always tell my clients the truth, even if it not want they want to hear. I want my clients to trust that I am on their side and will help them to the best of my ability.”
