Rachel Palmer

Associate Attorney

Denver divorce attorney Rachel PalmerIn family law, people are often at a crossroads. Denver divorce attorney Rachel Palmer enjoys helping each of her clients choose what their life is going to look like after the process is over.

“I enjoy family law because I am there to help people reshape their lives,” Ms. Palmer said.

Ms. Palmer says the one defining characteristic of her practice is her preparedness. In her career, she has gone up against dozens of opposing counsels who have decades of experience.

“But I am always the most prepared attorney in the courtroom,” Ms. Palmer said. “I pride myself on knowing my clients’ cases inside and out. With that knowledge on my side, I am rarely surprised by anything that happens during a hearing.”

Throughout the process, Ms. Palmer keeps her clients’ needs and goals in mind. She is there to guide them through the process, but she wants to make sure they ultimately determine the key decisions that are made.

“I always tell my clients that their job is to drive the car, my job is the GPS,” Ms. Palmer said. “It is my job to navigate my clients through the process, but I ultimately want them to have control and own each decision that is made. So long as they have all of the information, they have the ability to make the best decision for themselves and their family.”

“Rachel Palmer was fantastic. She was prompt at getting me all of the information.  Without Rachel’s involvement, I would have lost tons of money. I hired Cordell & Cordell because I have a 12-year-old child. What I didn’t realize is how much more they gave me. They were able to shut down a lot of nonsense and turn an ugly divorce into an OK one.”

“She did a really good job. I liked how aggressive she could be in questioning my ex. She really put her off-balance.”

“From square one Rachel was always on my side. In her I felt like I had a partner, not just an attorney, although she was a fantastic attorney.”

“You and your team have been a bright spot in a very dark and sad series of events, and I thank you. Your expertise, honesty, and professionalism have been a breath of fresh air, and your effective advocacy ultimately saved me from the even more sad fate that had obviously been planned for me. It was quite frightening to have my life altered so profoundly by someone I trusted and actions over which I had no control whatsoever. I cannot imagine where I would be today without you there to guide me. I shall be eternally grateful to you for all of these things. While I hope that this is completely over and there will be no further reason for me to have legal representation, I appreciate your overtly expressed willingness to assist me further should that need arise. The knowledge that I can always turn to you if another shoe drops gives me peace.  …”

“She defended me the best she could.  We were able to do all the paperwork that was needed, which was good as well.  It was excruciating, but that wasn’t Rachel’s fault. All in all I was very satisfied.”

“She is incredible in the courtroom [and] in front of the judge … She is an amazing trial lawyer.”

“Rachel’s been great. She’s very competent and on top of things. They stayed in contact and did exactly what they were supposed to do.”
