“Although all litigation is certainly important, no litigation has as much impact on your life and the lives of your children as divorce,” Ms. McGill said.

If there is one defining characteristic that helps Ms. McGill in practicing law, it is  her compassion coupled with her ability to be a strong advocate.

“A person going through divorce needs an attorney that can guide them through the emotional roller coaster of the process and minimize stress by giving them the confidence that their attorney is going to achieve the best outcome for them as possible,” she said. “Ultimately, my job is to understand the client’s goals and to partner with them to meet those goals; both in the short and long-term.”

Education

Ms. McGill earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She received her Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law.

Professional Experience

After concluding a judicial clerk internship with the honorable judge Jim Martin, Ms. McGill was a partner in a small firm where she represented both individuals and companies on a broad range of litigation and transactions. Prior to practicing law, she spent several years in the pharmaceutical industry before moving on to build a small business with her husband.
