Lauren N. Adkins

Litigation Manager/Florida Resident Partner

jacksonville divorce attorney lauren adkinsLauren N. Adkins feels that letting clients know where they stand with regards to their cases and informing them of the strengths and weaknesses of their cases from the start provides them with the clearest vision of what they can and should expect as their cases progress.

Being open and honest also applies when dealing with opposing counsel, according to Ms. Adkins.

“When the working environment is one of honesty and respect with the goal to resolve the case as amicably and equitably for all parties, I truly believe I am the best attorney I can be,” she said.

The family law process is not easy, but with a caring and knowledgeable attorney, clients can get some sense of relief that they have someone working for and listening to them.

“I will inform and instruct you as best I can on the law with regards to your case, ease your fears and concerns about the future of your family, finances and property, and guide you through the process with the greatest balance of advice and understanding as I can,” Ms. Adkins said.

Reviews

5/5

“The attorneys are honest, straightforward, and truthful. They do not tell you what you want to hear,  just the facts and how it is going to be. That is what I was looking for.”

“Lauren has always gone above and beyond the call of duty. She has been professional and very caring. Lauren has shown empathy and concern for my well-being as a father, and for this I am very grateful.”

“Honestly, it was more the fact that I had peace of mind with Lauren there. The fact that she was there to hold my hand when i would freak out – it was comforting to know that I had someone on my side. Lauren was a blessing to work with.”

“Lauren is awesome.  She is direct, doesn’t sugar-coat, and tells you exactly how things are.  … [S]he’s very clear in the information she’s providing.  You can tell that she listens and understands.”

“I am very happy with how you all handled my matter.  Lauren was very professional, concerned about my problem, and wanted to resolve it as quickly and efficiently as possible.  If legal services are needed in the future, I will be sure to call you.”

“My case had been dragging out for two years with little to no progress before approaching Cordell & Cordell. Despite the back and forth with opposing council, Lauren and [her Legal Assistant] were able to move the case forward and locked in a final hearing date. Between the two of them, I was updated regularly and thoroughly prepped as to what to expect at the final hearing. I appreciated the honesty, guidance and feedback throughout the process and am glad that I chose them last year. My only regret was not choosing this firm earlier in the process.”

5/5

“Lauren does an excellent job. She knows her stuff and pays great attention to detail.  I could tell early on that Lauren would have my best interests in mind.  Cordell & Cordell does an excellent job with men.  At the end of the day, I think they are very good at representing their clients.”
