Kristine J. Rea believes it is her responsibility to know every detail of her clients’ cases as well as they do since divorce and custody cases carry lifelong ramifications.
“I am committed to making that process as easy for them as possible by demonstrating compassion, being an adept litigator, and having constant communication with my clients so that they know the status of their case each step of the way,” Ms. Rea said.
Often times in domestic cases, because the issues are so personal, Ms. Rea said the situation can escalate to the point where it is hard for the client to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
“I do my best to help them understand that it will get better and there is someone fighting for their rights,” she said.

“I was already divorced when I came to you all, but at the time [the] opposing party had racked up debt and I could not afford an attorney. Eventually this changed and I needed someone to explain and fight for me to challenge some non-standard terms of my divorce. … Kristine helped me understand my rights and communicated with opposing counsel [to] challenge how they came up with their numbers. … I liked her approach. I think what you guys [are] great. I would use you again if need be in [the] future if opposing counsel tries to change things.”
