Linda Evangelista, a famous model, has requested that the Manhattan Family Court honor her request for $46,000 per month in child support from her child’s father, one of the most prominent men in fashion, the New York Post reports.

Evangelista has a 4-year-old boy fathered by Francois-Henri Pinault, CEO of the company that owns luxury brands that include Gucci and Yves St. Laurent. The model mom claims that Pinault hasn’t paid her a penny since the child’s birth. Pinault is married to actress Salma Hayek, with whom he has a 3-year-old child.

Support Magistrate Matthew Troy, who must decide the amount of money exchanged, reportedly told the New York Post that if the child support amount is granted, it would likely be the largest support order in the history of the court.

According to Evangelista’s attorney, she has been stuck paying for the entire cost of caring for and protecting her high-profile progeny, while Pinault’s daughter with Hayek is lavished with luxuries. Evangelista’s lawyer has said that most of the child support would go toward nanny care 24 hours a day and armed drivers.

The Huffington Post reports that Evangelista refused to identify the father of her baby, born in 2006. This child support battle has finally confirmed Pinault as the dad.
